Boho Pins: Top 10 Pins of the Week – Group Shots, steelasophical
Good Morning everyone and welcome to the weekend! I hope you are having a chilled out few days? We have some lovely images to share with you today in this week’s Boho Pins feature! Today we have rounded up our favourite (alternative) group shots. Group shots don’t have to be boring and stuffy, you can really inject some of your own personality into them these days. So why not work with your photographer to come up with some ideas that are more you than the traditional ‘everyone in a line’ shot. Only a small amount of posing here but lots of attitude, memories and smiles!
Image Source via Matt Parry – Different Levels: Get your wedding party to sit and stand to create different levels, this looks more like a fashion shoot than a wedding group shot because of the spacing between each person
Image Source via S6 Photography – The non-posed look: This looks like it could be a traditional line up group shot, but because Jon has captured everyone non-posed, they are all a lot more relaxed and much more natural
Image Source via Kristyn Harder Photography – In a different Place: Putting this group shot on to of the water gives an illusion of space and make the photo much more interesting
Image Source via Grace Elizabeth Photography – Using Stairs: Putting the wedding party on stairs, will again put everyone on different levels, so creating a much more exciting image
Image Source via Paul Joseph Photography – the Fun One: Group shots can of course be full of fun and not taken to seriously, this is a fab example.
Image Source via Silverstar Photographic – The Semi-Traditional One: The line up here looks just like a traditional group shot but the light flare/leak makes this image look less posed and a little bit spontaneous!
Image Source via Nabis Photographers – The Trendy One: Shades, Tick. Bridesmaid in a jumpsuit, Tick. Italian Destination Wedding, Tick.
Image Source via Megan Ewing Creative – The Informal One: Similar to using different levels, this group is both only semi-posed and looks like everyone is chilling out together after the ceremony. Love it!
Image Source – The One That Makes the Most of the Weather: Still want an outdoors group shot on your day despite the rain? No problem – use the umbrellas as props!
Image Source – The One with Personality: Let your group go nuts with props, and it will be sure to capture their personalities!
