Beautiful Bridesmaids Dresses From Coast

The Colours

Let’s talk about the colours first. SO pretty. If you’re having a classic wedding, you really can’t go wrong with navy. It’s also a shade that flatters most people, so you’ll be sure to keep your girls happy. However, if cooler tones work for your wedding palette, there’s also a stunning shade of icy blue that I think would work beautifully mixed in with the navy.

For those of you who want to embrace trends, yellow is going to massive this year and Coast have their own stunning shade – it’s soft and light and making me dream of sherbet lemons. This shade works beautifully on the floaty and whimsical Illy maxi dress & the Jenna dress – both of which would be perfect for a boho summer wedding day.

Pastels lovers will also be thrilled to see a classic blush pink, which I always think lends itself perfectly to tulle designs, such as the Corwin dress (a Coast best seller that is often repeated for their latest collection). There’s also a delicious shade of mint green, which looks super pretty and slightly preppy in the lovely pleated Amelia skirt.

Then there is a silky champagne shade which I love for a sophisticated soiree. The Becky satin midi dress with it’s detailed sleeves is such an elegant gown. Teamed with a loosely pinned updo and some chandelier earrings – total #bridesmaidsgoals.

The Styles

As well as the lovely colours, one of my favourite things about this collection from Coast is that there really is a dress for every bridesmaid. Maybe your friend loves their arms and is happy to wear sleeveless gowns, maybe another dislikes their legs and would prefer a maxi dress. Whatever styles your girls feel their best in, Coast has got you covered. A range of sleeve options and skirt lengths, along with chic separates that can be mixed and matched makes it a truly versatile collection.

This year Coast have really embraced a floral motif which runs through the whole collection. Whether that’s in the laser cut floral details of the Jani dress, the embroidered overlay of the Neive top & skirt or just in soft fabrics that drape like petals chosen to create the Harrie skirt – each dress has a feminine botanical edge.
